Las Vegas Gunman Stephen Paddock Wired $100K To Philippines Where Girlfriend Traveled

The girlfriend of the man who opened fire on concertgoers in Las Vegas, killing dozens and wounding hundreds more, arrived in Los Angeles Tuesday night as the investigation into the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history is underway.

The gunman who committed the worst mass shooting in US history on Sunday when he unloaded hundreds of rounds at concertgoers from a 32nd floor hotel room in Las Vegas "sent away" his girlfriend to the Philippines before the attack, her sisters said on Wednesday.

The 62-year-old Filipino-born woman landed at Los Angeles International Airport at 7:17 p.m. PT on Philippine Air Flight 102.

Her sisters had reportedly said Paddock bought her a ticket to the Phillipines to get her out of the way, as he knew she would stop him.

Police responded to the incident and found Paddock dead in his hotel room from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot.

Police found at least 23 firearms in his room, many of them rifles. "He sent her away, so that he can plan what he's planning without interruptions", one sister said.

Danley and Paddock met several years ago when she was working as a hostess at a Reno, Nevada, casino.

Bert Koenders said Thursday "I don't think I'm the only one anxious about the lack of realism we see on the British side". Mr Juncker's comments came the day after the latest round of talks between the two sides concluded in Brussels.

It has been learnt that Danley is not in custody as she is classified as a "person of interest" and nothing more.

Ms Danley is expected to be questioned about $US100,000 Paddock is believed to have wired to the Philippines recently.

Reynaldo Bustos, her brother, told ABC News that he spoke to his sister following the shooting.

Fox News reported on Wednesday that Stephen Paddock sent his girlfriend, Marilou Danley, to her home country of the Philippines without any explanation before his murderous attack on concert attendees on the Las Vegas strip. She is a good person and gentle soul.

USA reports and officials said she is either in the Philippines or Japan, although neither country was able to confirm her whereabouts.

However, Danley was dropped from being a person of interest after it was determined that she was not in the United States during the attack. They expressed gratitude that she is alive but said that doesn't make up for what happened.
