The Atlanta Falcons found themselves in a dogfight with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon and their task became significantly more hard after their top two receivers, including Julio Jones, were announced out for the rest of the game early in the second half.

When the Falcons faced fourth-and-1 in the final seconds without Jones or Sanu, Matt Ryan turned to Taylor Gabriel but couldn't complete the pass. Julio Jones left in the first half with a hip injury. After a strong start to the game, Jones went back to the locker room without his helmet. The Bills can credit a revamped defense for the wins. However, a little higher circumstances against the Falcons, as both came late in the game, with one giving them Bills the lead and another providing a few insurance points.

The Falcons already entered the game down their top pass-rusher; Vic Beasley Jr. missed his second consecutive game while recovering from a calf strain. And the Falcons were without their best leader with starting free safety Ricardo Allen also sidelined by a concussion.

There was no individual play that sent Jones off the field. The duo of Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman ran all over the Bills on Sunday.

Rams running back Todd Gurley meanwhile outshone Cowboys counterpart Ezekiel Elliott, finishing with 121 rushing yards and a further 94 receiving yards.
